Manager Process Improvement and Control

Job Purpose: The Manager Process Improvement and Control is responsible for delivering continuous process improvement of internal business processes, mainly in the areas of data privacy, data processing, contracting, etc., as well as for controlling a transaction flow between corporate functions and region teams to complete a case in time for business needs. The Manager Process Improvement and Control is also in charge of organizing system requirements through in-depth analysis to regional business needs.
Job resposibility: ・ Possess deep understanding to region businesses ? business landscape, eco-system partners, distribution channel structure, procurement processes, contract, local legislations concerning data privacy and trading.
・ Act as a champion within BU on Wacom’s governance and compliance framework, and jointly drive a business opportunity with a region team to complete a Legal review process in time.
・ Liaise with the Legal and Data Privacy teams to give a better understanding to regional needs, and buy them in to regional business activities.
・ Work with legal and data privacy teams to develop standardized processes and data collection forms that reduces burden on business owners
・ Identify areas of improvement in BU side for better visibility to Legal team’s review process, and make it foreseeable and manageable for business.
・ Educate region teams about Wacom’s governance and compliance framework.
・ Educate legal and data privacy teams about BU’s business operation models of today and tomorrow to develop standardized review and approval processes
・ Actively monitor potential business risks, and proactively develop countermeasures and solutions in cooperation with Legal team
・ Work with legal and data privacy teams to advise BU on business risk vs. absolute legal requirements on contracts
・ Take ownership of change initiatives from in business process and system improvement. Identify immediate and mid-term business needs from region, and translate them into qualified system requirements to Information Services and Technology team.

Requirement: ・ 5+ years of proven record in process improvement.
・ Strong in structuring/modeling a complicated topic into a simplified framework.
・ Rich experience in dealing with legal and data protection matters.
・ Analytical skill with a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
・ In-depth knowledge to CRM and business intelligence tools.
・ Professional experience in digital commerce and data-driven marketing environment is a plus
・ “Get hands dirty” and “get things done” mindset.
・ Strong interest in diversified business environment and cultural differences.
・ Ability to set-up, facilitate and lead a cross-functional project.
・ Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills ? ability to active listening, teamwork-oriented, strong sense of ownership, self-motivated, flexibility, patience to ambiguity.
・ Fluency in Japanese language and proficiency in English language.
